A-3ES3, Syndicate - Following up on an earlier statement, I-RED officials have confirmed today plans to host a public tour event of Atlas and Cloudfront the day following the upcoming SynCon Summit. According to the public release, private invitations will be sent out to specific capsuleers and capsuleer groups. However, the event will remain open to the general capsuleer population provided that an interested attendee does not have poor status with the organization.
"We are very excited to showcase what we have been so dedicated to throughout this past year", commented I-RED Executor Alex Hinkelmann in a press statement following the public release. "Director Bouchate will take the lead in coordinating all the planning. He has been quite busy organizing everything to ensure it goes by flawlessly. RDC will remain on standby to provide security services for the event."
Atlas, touted as the first public colony on a terrestrial world in Syndicate, is a rapidly developing city on the surface of A-3ES3 II. Built in opposition to the old Federal ban on the settlement of worlds by Intaki exiles, this corporate sponsored colony is claimed to be "for Intaki, by Intaki" by I-RED travel brochures. The city is connected to the greater cluster via a central space elevator system which is anchored to an orbiting Raitaru-class Engineering Complex. Roughly 100 km above the city is a large low-orbit installation known as Cloudfront - one that will act as a separate city.
Both Atlas and Cloudfront thus far boast dominantly Intaki populations. Other significant contributors include Civire, Deteis, and Gallente individuals. For now, both cities are under the jurisdiction of I-RED, with security elements being fulfilled by a five-year contract with the Revenent Defence Corporation. It remains to be seen how, if at all, control over the cities will be transferred over to the Intaki Syndicate. Legal experts argue that this will not officially occur anytime soon due to the Federal ban imposed generations ago against the Intaki Syndicate.
The public tour event is set to take place January 8th at 22:00 hours New Eden Standard Time. Interested capsuleers are being asked to submit a reservation via GalNet mail to Roirdan Bouchate.
