Tense Situation Diffuses Aboard Citadel

6-U2M8 - A mounting tension situation has been eased by Revenent Defense Corporation (RDC) security forces under contract by Ishuk-Raata Enforcement Directive (I-RED).

It started roughly two hours ago when a number of reports came in of a number of individuals behaving oddly and soliciting around a hydroponics bay aboard the 6-U2M8 Oriki Commercial Center. The reports were noted by I-RED security staff, but before a response could be enacted, the individuals in question left the scene leaving behind a number of unmarked packages. Fearing the worst, the hydroponics bay, which serve the dual functions of providing food and circulating air aboard I-RED facilities, was immediately shut down and a number of decks were evacuated and sealed off.

A special RDC security taskforce was brought in to deal with the suspicious packages. The taskforce successfully retrieved the packages without incident, and a spokesperson has since reported that there were "toxic agents" found within the packages. The spokesperson declined further comments, perhaps to avoid causing mass worry aboard the citadel. The spokesperson concluded by stating that the situation is under control, and that operations aboard the citadel will resume as usual.

The individuals in question have not been able to be identified, but it has not been stated why.
