617I-I - The Ishukone-Raata Enforcement Directive has formally unveiled today a privately funded research project focused on studying the Jove, Drifters, and wormholes. For some time now the 617I-I Tuulinen Observatory Astrahus-class citadel has been home to a predominantly scientific community researching a plethora of fields. However, I-RED has never funded a research division based on studying Anoikis and its related topics. Today marks a shift in I-RED interests.
"For a long time now, I-RED has stood silent as new emergent entities known as the Drifters and Circadian Seekers revealed their existence," said I-RED Executor Alex Hinkelmann. "Our forces watched in awe and horror as a taskforce sent to help escort Empress Jamyl Sarum witnessed firsthand the level of power they can wield. We stand by our long time ally Itsukame-Zainou Hyperspatial Inquiries, Ltd. and their continued efforts in understanding the current situation."
He went on to state how the creation of this research project will mark I-RED's efforts to try and contribute to the growing repertoire of research on Anoikis and related topics. The project will grant a sizable sum of money for research as well as appropriate research facilities aboard the 617I-I Tuulinen Observatory.
Heading the Anoikis Research Division will be Dr. Petrus Rouvier. Dr. Rouvier, a Gallente Federation native, graduated from the University of Caille with a Ph.D. in archaeology in YC98. Since then the venerable scientist has published numerous papers on ancient races that once roamed New Eden. He came into contact with I-RED three years ago, and worked as a scientist studying the possible methods for adapting modified ancient Talocan technology in medical cybernetics.
"I am excited, honored, and humbled to be instated as the director for I-RED's Anoikis Research Division," confessed Dr. Rouvier, following comments from Executor Hinkelmann. "With the top-quality research facilities provided to us, and ample funding, I am sure we can make headway in understanding Anoikis and its related topics."
The talks ended with a ribbon cutting ceremony on the steps of a brand new research facility dedicated to the ARD. The I-RED Board of Directors expressed bountiful optimism for the future success of Dr. Rouvier and his team of researchers.
