XS-XAY - Throughout the course of this weekend, planetary customs offices and Upwell structures under the control of the Ishuk-Raata Enforcement Directive [I-RED] are practicing mandatory Emergency Procedure Protocols (EPP). EPP are guidelines put into effect in the event that hostile forces or other events which pose a danger to a facility occur.
"Following up on our commitment to protect our valued non-capsuleer employees and residents, we will be conducting mandatory Emergency Procedure Protocols across all I-RED structures this weekend," stated I-RED Director Roirdan Bouchate in a press conference aboard the XS-XAY Reppola Logistic Support. "These drills will arm our citizens, employees, and welcomed guests with information on how to effectively conduct themselves in the event of an emergency for whatever facility they are on."
In a Q&A session following the press conference, I-RED Executor Alex Hinkelmann said, "The safety of those who reside in our facilities is our number one priority. These drills mark a commitment to the continued protection of all who call I-RED facilities their home."
Furthermore, this weekend also entails various upgrades across all I-RED structures aimed at improving emergency evacuation efficiency. I-RCN surveys across a number of facilities reveal a positive approval from residents. This is further supported by the fact that compliance so far across all facilities has been resoundingly high.
"I appreciate the efforts of I-RED command," said Veika Okkasaigen, a mother of three aboard the 617I-I Tuulinen Observatory. "I feel proud to work for such an organization. Gariushi would be proud of their efforts, I'm sure," she says, as she pulls her children closer.
"I support the decision of I-RED higher-ups," says Gairo Louvier, an electrical engineer aboard the A-3ES3 Tash-Murkon Refinery. He continued, "what I appreciate most is that they are giving us all the weekend off with pay to conduct these drills; not too often you'd see a move like that from a Caldari organization."
The drills will be conducted until Monday of this coming week.
